Seward’s July 4th celebrations are the best in the state, with music, street vendors, midnight fireworks, and the incredible Mt. Marathon Footrace.

Fishing opportunities abound, with fantastic early summer sockeye runs, and silver salmon runs in August and September. Of course, our halibut fishing is second to none, drawing in anglers from around the globe.
